They are the places the community comes together not only for spiritual needs but also to learn new skills from elders, build social connections, discuss and debate issues important to all. Gurdwaras are the community centers that give a physical space for everyone to come together.

This lesson plan explores the meaning of Gurdwara, its role in BC’s history as well as what they look like in today’s communities.
