Khazaana - A Treasure of Sikh Heritage

After four long years, join us at Surrey City Hall for Sikh Heritage BC’s art exhibition: Khazaana - A Treasure of Sikh Heritage! Khazaana means “treasure” and this event will highlight a treasure trove of local Sikh artists – including fine art, poetry, film, as well as stage performances.

Artistic expression has been given a big importance in the Sikh ethos. Many old art forms remain with us, and many new mediums of art have taken the place of some of the old. No matter the medium, all art made by Sikhs tells a story – our story.

This event takes place on the Unceded Territories of the Semiahmoo, Katzie, Kwikwetlem, Kwantlen, Qayqayt and Tsawwassen First Nations.
